The Story
Mặn means salty. Ngon means delicious. Together — Mangon.
Growing up, we didn't have much. My mom cooked with whatever was in the house — mostly salt, fish sauce, and soy sauce. Everything salty, everything bold. The family always said she couldn't cook. But to me and my brother, her food was everything.
She never followed recipes. She just told me — mix the seasonings you love and it will always be good.
That never left me. Mangon Dining is my way of honoring her.
